  I have never stepped foot in this church. My ex husband began going a couple of months ago. He has our girls on the weekends I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse. I am the full custodial parent. The minister of this church baptized my 6 year old child yesterday without my consent, knowledge, permission, or presence. She has zero decision making skills at 6 years old and thought this was "fun". This Minister had ZERO counseling sessions with my 6 year old. There was no family around her except her father. My daughter was robbed of her special and sacred moment to feel Jesus' presence in her heart, accept Him wholly and fully, and then step out into the aisle of the church of her choice and make that beautiful walk to accept her personal Savior. She was robbed of having her Mother present at this most important event in her life. I am beyond what anyone would describe as livid. I have full custody of my girls and as long as I have breath in my body I will protect them. This act was completely unacceptable and incomprehensible.
