  Anniston Funeral Services handled the services for Mrs. Buford Curry, in Anniston, Alabama. The original obituary had the services being held at a chapel, and did not provide the details of the location of the chapel. I called the funeral home and got the "after hours" answering service - who also did not know the location of the chapel identified in the obituary.
  For three days, I called the funeral home; never being able to speak with a representative of the funeral home; regardless of the time of day that I called. The obituary was updated a few days prior to the service, with a change in location. Again, it was printed without the address of the service AND the answering service did not have the address; yellow pages also listed two addresses that were inaccurate.
  The morning of the service - again they were not available and could only speak with the answering service; and not being from Alabama - we arrived as the family was leaving the service!
  Totally frustrated, embarrassed, painfully distraught having missed the entire service, I approached the representative and informed him of the situation. The representative of "Anniston Funeral Services "Where Service Begins and Never Ends" could only tell me that I should have contacted the family AND they "are very busy right now!"
  Comfort, compassion, attention to detail, listening skills - FAILED
